TM Report: Hartman Park

Poor armoring has cause the stream to spread making mud

There's a reason they call this section "Razor Back"
Date: 5/3/2011
Report Type: TM Report
Trail Name: Hartman Park
Town: Lyme
Trail Conditions: good
Observations/Information: Been talking with Linda from the Town of Lyme about getting some trail work done and armoring/bridging a few streams... did a recon ride today. There is a section on one of the yellow trails that has been rerouted but no one uses as a bridge or something needs to go in. few other wet spots and older bridges need to be replaced. Will be posting up dates later once I get the final OK for the Town.

Looks OK here, but what you can't see is it's acting as a dam and creating a lake of mud around it.

That "Razor Back" looks to be a complete fall-line section and unsustainable...
