Trumbull-Pequonnock

Date of Activity: Monday, October 11th, 2010
Location: Pequonnock Valley State Forest
Trail(s) Ridden: White, Yellow, Blue, Red
Condition of Trails: Leafy but Dry

Observations:
Although the weather was phenomenal, I surprisingly saw very few bikers. All the trails (including the Blue by the river) were leafy but and rideable. Noticed many good signs of trail gnomes at work: cut deadfall on the Blue along the river. mini-boardwalk by Coyote Crossing updated (probably courtesy of Rich Stichcomb), much armoring on rivulet crossings and wets spots here and there thru-out the park.

Stooped at a few spots on the White Trail near the Town Playground to eradicate mis-blazed legacy yellow, otherwise just kept riding and enjoying the vibe...
