Date: July 16, 2014
Report Type: TM Report
Trail Name: West Rock Ridge SP
Town: Hamden
Trail Conditions: Damp
Observations/Information: Despite all the rain this week, the trails at West Rock were merely damp. Places that are normally muddy, even after a dry spell, were wet, but firm. I did some pruning as I went, plus took out a few invasive plant species, as usual. The mosquitos are flying in squadrons, so be sure to wear bug repellent. I picked up half a bucket of trash, which is a positive sign that I continue to find less and less trash at the park.
