Report Type: TA Report:
Trail Name: West Woods Preserve
Town: Guilford
Trail Conditions: Good- mostly dry
Observations/Information: I rode from Dunk Rock Road and checked out several trails on the eastern side of the preserve... Three Corners Rd, Sam Hill, Moose Hill, and Peddlers Rd.
Nice riding and mostly dry conditions exist. Some wet/mud spots exist at the normal bog'ish areas.
A large man made bridge is out on the yellow square to white square connector- just south of the waterfall.... Looks like it flooded out?! However, a large down tree allows for an easy crossing
Hand sawed 5 fallen trees that had been down since mid winter on popular biking/hiking trails. It'll be nice to ride with flow again!
Didn't see any bikers but only one lone hiker who needed a bit of help with orientation.
Sorry no photos this time- beautiful evening in a seemingly empty place!
