Trail Name: Cockaponset SF - Weber Woods section

Trail Conditions: Moist and cluttered
Observations/Information: It felt great to hit the woods finally after several months of recovering from back surgery (mid July); still not safe to ride a bike yet, but hiking is fine....I was going nuts; hiked up the access road to the northern green and took it east; I cleared a ton of light sticks and limbs but there were a few larger blow downs from the storm blocking the trail and in need of chainsaw work; someone built a beautiful bridge over the large brook by the Quinimay trail where it was a real pain to cross without getting soaked- thanks to those folks!; took the blue down to the lower green, then headed west and out to the road again; didn't see anyone, and had the trails all to myself, which was fine with me; the best physical therapy (other than biking) that I could think of doing.
