Report Type: TA Report:
Trail Name: Collis P Huntington SP
Town: Redding
Trail Conditions: Good, just a little slick in places
Observations/Information: Paula and I hit Huntington for a quick after work ride on Wednesday. Teps were about 60 Fahrenheit, and it stayed light until 6PM. These first springlike days are a treat. There were many other riders on the trails as well, including a guy from California who had never ridden New England singletrack before. We wished him luck! Trails were in excellent shape, free of blockages, and well used. Just a little bit of thick, gooey mud in the low places and shady hillsides. The south pond reroute in particular is looking fantastic- packed, fast and looking like an eatablished trail. This is one of the best designed and built trails I've ever ridden on.
