TA Report: Huntington State Park

Date: May 27, 2011
Report Type: TA Report
Trail Name: Huntington State Park
Town: Redding
Trail Conditions: Good
Observations/Information: Hit Huntington Friday afternoon. Hot but shady and breezy in the woods, making it the place to be. Trails are in great shape. Just a little mud where you'd expect to find it (low areas). The DEP is in the process of grading the parking lots and carriage roads and spreading gravel. Watch out for piles of gravel on the carriage roads and "horse piles" on the singletrack. I also noticed someone has been closing braids on one of the unmarked singletracks. Good work!

If you're looking for a place to ride this weekend, Huntington would be a good place to do it.
