Encounters & Observations: Met a friend from work, Rob, and along with my daughter we set out to do a trail re-route by the third stream crossing (if heading north). Ironically, I had rerouted this section two years ago to take advantage of a rock garden only to find there was a low spot that was getting rutted out. The reroute goes up an incline that needed to be benched but then it drops down back to the trail again that hooks up to the rock garden. So now you get the best of both worlds and a new terrain feature, too!
