TA Report: Upper Paugussett State Forest

Date: 4/8/2013
Report Type: TA Report:
Trail Name: Upper Paugussett State Forest
Town: Newtown, CT
Trail Conditions: Mostly bone dry
Observations/Information: Still got some sloppy seconds on Poly Brodie but there is no avoiding that if you are riding the basic loop.

Somebody left a helmet. Looks like a snowboard helmet which is odd but I guess possible if you were into extreme back country snowboarding.

The nick I made two weeks ago drained that wet section further up the Poly Brody and the rock skinny is still there. Lots of horse prints, too, but nothing on the Gussy.

Found a real thick chain sticking out of the ground on the Sandy Reroute.  I wonder what is on the other end?

The Gussy is so dry that it's actually dusty in places.
