Hurd State Park

Date: 3/16/2013
Report Type: TM Report:
Trail Name: Hurd State Park
Town: East Haddam
Trail Conditions: Not ready for prime time
Observations/Information: Made the trip over to Hurd with the hope that things would be ridable. Unfortunately at least a quarter of the trails are still under a couple inches of ice and snow. The trails that are clear are for the most part draining well and are just a little soft. A couple areas of mud and water that will probably dry out in the next couple weeks (weather permitting). Cleared some sticks and limbs that had come down across the trail. There were a couple other blow downs that needed a pack saw (which I left in the car).
