Wadsworth Falls SP

Date: October 25, 2012
Report Type: TA Report:
Trail Name: Wadsworth Falls SP
Town: Middletown/Rockfall
Trail Conditions: Good, dry, leafy.
Observations/Information: Rode Wadsworth Falls Thursday afternoon. The trails were like a pomeranian just back from the doggie salon- dry and fluffy. A thick layer of leaves hides the smaller roots and rocks and definitely makes the trails a little more challenging. Traction is also comprimised. This happens every year, of course, and is a fact of riding here in New England.

Trails were dry and, for the most part, clear. One tree down in the unmarked singletrack betweeen red and yellow, rendering it impassable (see photo). The short side trail to the school in Rockfall is now passable, but still a little grown-in. Everything else is fine.

With a hurricane due early next week I'd sugest spending as much quality time with your bike as possible this weekend, and Wadsworth would be a good place to do that.
