Trail Name: Cockaponset SF - Weber Woods section
Town: Clinton-Westbrook
Trail Conditions: Mostly Dry with some Wet Areas
Observations/Information: Entered the Chittenden Hill Preserve (CHP), taking the blue blazed Loop Tr. and worked my way into Westbrook's Horse Hill Woods (HHW). En-route, I visited the Paint Ball Tr. (CSF) that Don H. has done alot of work on. The HHW trail work conducted earlier in the day (Sun, 20 May) was extensive with new white blazes. Left HHW and rode Green and Orange trails in Weber Woods (WW). Talked with a couple that had entered from WW carpark, discussing the new HHW trails. They had not visited the area in quite awhile, but will now plan a re-visit. Also passed a dog-walker that had entered at CHP, and heading towards WW.
