Trail Name: Larkin State Bridle Trail
Town: Southbury, Oxford, Middlebury, Naugatuck
Trail Conditions: Some mud, mostly OK
Observations/Information: Rode the entire length of the Larkin on the Monster Cross this morning. Looks like the State finally took care of that blow down near Kettletown Road and it looks like several sections got regraveled. Watch out for sand though, there are quite a few sandy spots.
Right before Towantic Hill Rd there is a huge, deep puddle, and after the road crossing stream going through the trail is running profusely. Stay down the middle until you see the gravelly banks and use them.
