Trail Name: Salmon River SF
Town: Colchester
Trail Conditions: decent for the most part, better in the northern section.
Observations/Information: Started at Airline Trail off Bull Hill road. Hit the trail up and to the right just after the "Great Divide" ;-). Trail is pretty cool. The Southern sections seems not to get the attention that the northern parts of the trail get. Once you get up in the northern 1/2 the trail is super sweet!!!
Some hunters tree stands here and there. But man does the trail flow nice once you're in that section. Getting there is ok but there are many water crossings and wash out were a few times I wasn't sure if I was on the trail or following a over flow section of a stream. Cool skinny and a sweet skinny/ bridge/ raised walk (though it's looking like it's about to rot out) Will definitely go back!!!
For anyone using Iphone GPS software. I started out using MapmyRide on my Iphone but found it keeps quitting when it looses cell reception so I switched over to Everytrail which isn't as accurate but at least it stays with the GPS even if the cell phone towers aren't in range :-\
