TA Report: West Hartford Reservoir

Trail Ambassador Name: Daren Casey
Encounters & Observations: Another healing ride for me. Rode the outer
fence line up to the power lines. Finished the climb on the fire road.
Turned off at the top down towards $5 hill than back up on some trails and
logging roads. Backup up to the top again out to the power lines, back in
to the logging/fire roads back to the top again..too much climbing! Started
down the main fire road headed towards 44 and was going to cut in ½ way down
towards the creek and to crossover the Bomber trail. A HUGE tree had fallen
across the entrance.

I carried the bike over it and saw about 4 more trees
down but not across the trail before I got to the creek, ½ mile or so.
Finished the ride up crossing the dikes and back to the main trail by
following the lower fire road where I saw another tree laying across the
road. This one was manageable.

Cut in again on the last little MTB track
at the end. I did some small maintenance of limbs clean up and straightened
up a pile going over another tree. Little quick things.
Hard & Fast. The dirt, not me. Excellent riding!!!!
