TA Report: Upper Paugussett State Forest

Date of Activity: 9/8/2010
Trail Conditions: Niiiiiice!
Encounters and Observations: Found the new blow down on the Gussy Trail, it's between the second and third stream crossings. If you are familiar with the Gussy trail, heading north on the trail there are actually 5 stream crossings but three actually ever have any flow during the wettest seasons. The first one, however, is the Wetspot and the only time I have seen water in it is after a really big rain storm. The next three crossings, which are all armored come next and then there is a little stream higher up right after the Log Ride Short.

The trail gnomes have been busy dressing it up as an up and over. Personnally, I would like to see this turned into a skinny. The rest of the trail is looking nice but it appears there has been some more ATV activity on the Poly Brody.
