Observations: I clipped back brush on the blue trail going down to South Pond- it is very dense! Removed deadwood etc. It is still blocked on the bottom. That trail is problematic, but seems to have stablized itself somewhat except at the bottom where it continues to get wider, but I am hoping to work some more on the armoring this week before the MBAS ride on Sunday. Then I went back to the parking lot, and talked to the folks doing the Monday night NEMBA ride. Dave W and Dave H, were working on the Twister Trail, so I found them and they had made excellent progress clearing deadwood and blowdowns in the trail. A spring wind storm had brought down a huge tree in the trail. The NEMBA ride came by and checked out the work that the two Daves had accomplished.
