The Res is still open! We rode the blue trail, taking all the side trails into and out of the woods, took a right at Reflector Man onto a nice, swoopy, smooth (by Res Standards) singletrack that dumped us out on the powerline. Our plan was to take the fence line back, but it was closed at the old water tank, forcing us to ride back to the parking lot on the paved road (in the wrong direction).
After the ride we went out to eat, where Paula had a bowl of soup, and I had a man-sized calzone.
