Encounters & Observations:34 volunteers for four hours did 3000 feet with 136 manhours. 20 hours of prep and setup made the work go extremely smooth. The Red trail had been overgrown and barely passable for nearly ten years. The trail marks were still on the trees, so we cleared the trail, trimmed brush, and clarified markings along the trail.. horses, bikes, and hikers were seen on the trail within hours of work.. Nearly the whole 1.4 mile red trail is open, however only half is currently clearly marked. A great job by all.
