Upper Paugussett State Forest

Trail Name: Upper Paugussett State Forest
Town: Newtown, CT
Trail Conditions: Very nice and definitely rideable

Observations/Information: Although the Poly Brody is a little wet in places it's still doable. In fact, I nicked a section and then created an armored skinny to get through it.

I did a little armoring on the Sandy reroute, too, but the rock store just wasn't offering anything good so I will need to widen the search pattern for good flatties.

With the exception of the reroute here, which is drying out rather quickly and some of the edges of the stream crossings the Gussy Trail is extremely dry.  Now that is a sustainable trail!  Remarkably, even the wetspot is bone dry.
