Mount Archer

Date: Jan 19, 2013
Report Type: TA Report:
Trail Name: Mount Archer
Town: Lyme
Trail Conditions: Light snow cover, but pretty awesome. (video to come)
Observations/Information: Met up with Cory Stiff to do a quick spin and check out some of the recently opened trails, well one of them anyway ;-) Neither of us has ridden the Yellow trail on the Mt archer property since it was opened to biking this summer so we spun off and out to it.

Got to say it's now one of my favorite trails and adds enough mileage where Mt Archer can be a decent ride. I wasn't feeling well and bailed after doing just that trail (and white on either end to access the road) and came out just under 5 miles... add the new trails down to the swimming hole and the main loop white trail on the Jewett (farm) side you really can do a 1/2 way decent mileage!!

So what kind of distances for the Mt. Archer trails are there? In Weber Woods, I can put together 10 to 15KM with a few out-and-backs, loops and then back to the house - maybe 1 to 1.5hrs, which is OK for after work.
