Report Type: TA Report:
Trail Name: River Highlands State Park
Town: Cromwell
Trail Conditions: Good, dry, leafy.
Observations/Information: I rode River Highlands Saturday afternoon. Very little storm damage and all the trails are clear with one exception- a large blowdown on the green trail along the RR tracks. It's high and crosses the tril at an angle, so it's difficult to get over. Probably better to ramp it than cut it. Trails are dry and leafy. I did a little trail work, cleared some sticks and small limbs.
The Middletown area was not hit hard at all by the storm. If you're looking for a clear place to ride, come here.
