Trail Name: Hop River State Rail Trail

Observations/Information: The Hop River hosted a morning "Fun Run" courtesy of the Ellington Recreation, great to see families out for some exercise. I made frequent stops for a variety of reasons: helping with trail directions and bike safety, bike repair, discussion of TA responsibilities and CTNEMBA, cleared some branches off trail too. Also, assisted a man who lost his bike lock key in the Valley Falls area. This is a wonderful trail for TA's to be visible and patrol, lots of socialization with the community. I received some "thank-you" comments from people as well.
