River Highlands State Park

Date: May 14, 2012
Report Type: TA Report:
Trail Name: River Highlands State Park
Town: Cromwellp
Trail Conditions: Good made better
Observations/Information: I took a ride at the Blow Hole on Monday. It was cloudy, dank, and muggy, but the trails were dry. I rode the yellow and gren trails mostly. The yellow trail reroute is looking good and surprisingly well packed- riding seems to be taking off here. It's nice not having to worry about mud at the top of the yellow trail anymore, and the reroute is a lot more fun to ride.

I spent a lot of time of the bike trimming low branches and cutting deadfall that was encroaching on the trail, and they're now clearer than thay were.

There's now a privy down in the camp site (salvation in a can!), and it's also now mosquito season at the Blow Hole, so use repellant or prepare to suffer.
