TA Report: Upper Paugussett State Forest

Really?

Date: 4/13/2012
Report Type: TA Report:
Trail Name: Upper Paugussett State Forest
Town: Newtown
Trail Conditions: Bone dry for the most part

Observations/Information: There are still two wet areas on the Brody Forest road, one in which there is no getting around. What's a little a mud on the hood?  I found yet another empty beer can on the Brody, but what really pissed me off was further back on the forest road there was a little bag of what looked like dog pooh on the side of the road.  So someone walking their dog let Fi Fi pooh and then bagged it only to drop it on the side of the road?  C'mon, it's a Forest!  I would rather have the pooh then some dummy to bag it and leave it.

The Brody is also free of the downed tree so you can rip through there now on your way to the fun stuff on the Gussy.

The Gussy Trail is really dry but nicely defined.
