Report Type: TA Report:
Trail Name: Collis P Huntington SP
Town: Redding
Trail Conditions: Good, dry
Observations/Information: I rode Huntington Friday afternoon. There was hardly a wet spot anywhere. The planks around the boardwalk have been repositioned, and you can now get under the tree again (it was too low). The trails appear to be getting a lot of use, and there are some new lines popping up in various places, particularly in the burn loop area. This could become a problem if it gets out of control. Other than that everything was fine. Like Cheech and Chong say "everything's cool, man".
Although trails were dry on Friday, they are not forcast to stay that way. Saturday is supposed to be a washout. If you ride on Sunday, please use good judgement regarding the wet areas.
