Trail Name: West Woods Preserve
Town: New Haven/Hamden
Trail Conditions: A little snow, a little ice, a little mud, a few puddles, otherwise nice
Observations/Information: Met a group at 9:30 A. M. who spoke of taking the south loop of the park. Having never ridden the south loop, it turned out to be a bunch of hike a bike, cross country, and single track. The trails consisted of what appeared to be old trails, stone staircases eroded away and in disrepair. We also got to do some road riding on the closed roads of West Rock, nice views of the New Haven area. Beautiful day!!!
