Report Type: TA Report:
Trail Name: George C Waldo State Park
Town: Southbury
Trail Conditions: Stupendous!
Observations/Information: Paula and I rode Waldo Saturday afternoon (yes, we rode twice in one day!). Trails were in fantastic shape. We continue to be amazed by how fast and well the Daffy Duck trail is breaking in. Trails were all dry from start to finish, although that's due to change within the next 24 hours.
One sad note is that the trail blockers are at it again, throwing sticks in the trail in other mischeif. Don't they know they're wasting their time? Don't they know that whatever they put in the trail, we'll simply remove?
Waldo is a great place to ride but the bugs are obnoxious, make sure you bring repellant if you visit in the summer.
