Trail Name: Upper Paugussett State Forest
Town: Newtown, CT
Trail Conditions: Schweeeet
Observations/Information: It's been a month since the last time I was in here and it's riding really nice. The Brody is nearly bone dry, one little wet spot remains on the first climb from Echo Valley and the Gussy is simply stellar. The big oak tree that blew down in that storm in June is still blocking the trail and it appears hikers and maybe bikers have developed their own PP to get around it. I think I will have to go in a create a proper reroute so that it's not a fall line climb.
Further down the widow maker is down and there is a new widow maker. Going to have to reroute around that too but found some goodies along the way that will make the new section really fun.
