TA Report: West Hartford Reservoir

Trail Ambassador Name: Daren Casey

Encounters & Observations: Went for an early, early ride last Sunday at the
WH Rez. Started from the main lot, up the power lines, a little bit of fire
road, jumped up on the blue trail, down the top ½ of Bomber, across the
creek and finished on the fence line. What a GREAT morning for a ride. I
was out too early so I didn't see anybody else except for some deer and a
hot air balloon. I love being out in the woods, especially on top of
mountains during the sunrise. The pictures don't do it justice. The trails
were good to go. A little damp and the creek was good and full because of
the leaves clogging up the drainage. Just a touch slippery but dropped the
tire pressure about 3-4 pounds and dug right back in. No maintenance this
time other than moving a few branches of the trails.
