TA Report: Cockaponset SF / Weber Woods

Date of Activity: November 10, 2010
Location: Cockaponset SF / Weber Woods
Condition of Trail(s): Moist low spots with lots of leaves, some blow down
Observations: Snuck in a ride after work (early exit), my first since the time change; donned my florescent vest and headed out on the green and took the new found unmarked across to the yellow- a great horse trail; with the leaves down, the trails hide a mystery underneath, especially with reduced visibility from the sun dropping sooner; a much more lonely feel than a month ago, the trails offer a cool challenge this time of year; headed north to the upper green and noticed a weird blue hue to the sky; circled back to the dirt road and then to home; rolled into my driveway in the dark and was greeted by an unseen deer snorting/huffing off my cul-de-sac; summer is behind us.
