Trail Ambassador Name: Rick Brodsky, Mark Lurie
Condition of Trail(s): Ideal conditions.
Observations: Trails were 98% dry. Really beautiful morning to be riding. It was about 60 degrees at the start. Hardly any bugs at all. Trails were in pristine condition with only a few minor blow downs. We cleared some debris and created a new up-and-over with one of the downed trees. Its actually more of an up-and-then-huck. The new skinny is fantastic, very well done. The re-route after the first stream crossing is a welcome addition and a great example of smart trail building. We saw three hunters who were out for a casual tour, no actual hunting. We stopped to talk and they were nice, respectful, and very complimentary of NEMBA's trail work.
Blowdown on the Gussy Trail. We were able to keep the tree across the trail and build a nice up and over for it that has a huck on the otherside.
