Trail Report for: Nassahegon SF and surrounding Burlington woods

Duration: 21 manhours of Trail Maintenance
Conditions: For most of the month, the trails have been very dry with heavy underbrush growth. Extensive TM work by numerous individuals left the trail surfaces in superb conditions. Now, to rid ourselves of the bugs and ticks!
Observations: The popularity of the area continues to grow and with it, the number of riders new to the area. The several Trail Ambassadors assigned to these woods maintain high visibility, have recruited others to become TA's, and have been very busy giving directions and helping riders and hikers out. The usual controversies continue but have recently been overshadowed by the West Hartford Reservoir issues.
Trails: Soccer Fields, Stone West, Sessions, and Scoville areas
