Encounters & Observations: Another great day to ride. The hardest part of today’s ride was to get started after stopping. The temperature was perfect and the breeze was cool.. I only needed a hammock something cold to drink. The trails are really starting to form again. There’s a group of 29er rigid riders that appear to be making some of the trails a little straighter and smoother but ruining anything… just making them faster. I’m trying to make it a point to ride the trails that are starting to become covered. MDC is doing major work along the fence line next to the large concrete container. They have it fenced off coming from the RT 44 side. I looped back today so I could see it and they have large machinery and a lot of dirt. A chain link fence encloses the construction site. Looks like that may be going on for a while.
