Duration (Hours): 2 1/2 Hours
Observations:
Didn't bring the camera since it was gray and overcast (although there was a smidgeon of sunlight for a short while while I was in the park). I went in thru the North End and was curious if the state park land manager cut the tree blocking the bramble path. I was happy to see that they did.
Rode the white and red and a few side trails to the south end of the park - everywhere was heavily covered with leaves - you had to know where the trail was from previous rides to figure out where to go! It was muddy and rutted throughout even on the higher trails. Scouted out quite a few places on the main trails that could benefit from better-assisted drainages (nicks, etc.). Will return later to shore up these spots...
When coming back down the main white trail near the south end, there was a fallen tree blocking the main trail suspended about 3 ft off the ground. I sawed it off where it was broken and pulled it off the trail. Encountered a few hikers and a few bikers but it was quiet all in all.
