Where was your starting point for this ride? The parking lot by the beach?

According to Barry:

"We park at the Beaver Meadow Rd. commuter parking lot. We then ride west on Beaver Meadow, entering the forest to the left. We start on the right hand orange trail, take a left on the road, right on Filley Rd., right onto the purple trail, left at "the triangle", left on the road, right on the red trail. After following the red to a paved road, we take a right into the blue/yellow, right on a road, left on the red, cross a road and bear right to a red, left on a road, left on another road, right on the first orange, left on the orange, right to Beaver Meadow Rd.

Maps are @ ct.gov/dep -> State Parks & Forests -> Cockaponsett (north & south maps)

Blue and Blue / Red are hiking only. All else is fair game and fun!"

Thanks Mark! Will try this, have been there before but conditions were poor due to rain, so just rode the roads.
